CHAPTER THREE
That weekend they went on the picnic that his mother had arranged, the four of them, Robert, Ellie, Ian, and his mother. His father had claimed some urgent business would require a trip to Gaspard, so he could not join them. His mother seemed both pleased and excited, suggesting that the lake might be warm enough for a swim.
Robert had hurried over to the gypsy camp to deliver the invitation to Ian. As they ate breakfast, he brought up the sheepskins. Ian knowingly laughed and gave him a small packet to hide in his pocket.
They rode horses through the forest to the lake, enjoying the sunshine peeking through the canopy created by the trees overhead. It was going to be a lovely warm spring day and even though the lake would still be a tad cold, the thought of a swim with Ellie was enough to put thoughts in Robert's head.
They found a nice spot with soft grass just back a few yards from the lake, opened the baskets, laid out the blankets and Robert went down to check the temperature in the lake. He returned quite pleased. "It's a bit chilly, but I'm game if you are, Ellie?"
Angela begged off from the swim after inserting a toe in the water. She said that this spot was very close to the cave that they had found last fall and she wanted to show it to Ian. Ellie and Robert were soon down to their undies and frolicking away in the lake.
As they walked up the path to the cave, Ian teased Angela a bit. "You know your son is coming of age. I think he has an eye for the ladies already."
"And just where do you think he inherited that trait, Ian?" she laughed. Ian patted her bottom as they walked inside the cave. He was not surprised to find blankets and pillows waiting along with a small lantern that Angela lit and turned down to only a faint light. She slipped out of her summer dress, carefully laying it aside so it would be fit to wear back to the picnic.
As he kissed her and licked her neck, she whispered in his ear, "No sheepskin today, Ian, please? I think it's time for a daughter." There were no complaints from the rogue as he took her, enjoying the wild passion that still always surprised him when she reached her climax.
As they lay there waiting for their breathing to return to normal, he spoke, "I think we may have reached the target there. I hope it's the daughter that ye wished for."
Angela smiled and bit his neck, "Maybe we can try again to be sure. Ye know that's what I told Andrew after that first time. When he asked what had happened that night, I simply held up two fingers. In a way, it was the truth."
"Has he tried the two time approach since then, hoping for more children?", Ian chuckled and moved again within her.
"No, he's never been up to doing it twice. He credits that potion for that one time,"---- Then she could only whimper and hang on as her lover took her to those wild heights again. An adulteress, yes, but a happy one.
