lava, there is no way I can sleep until we return to that Castle Gaspard and find oot what yer sister abby saw doon there.

Please, Master �. that place frightens me�. Ghosts? the dungeon? i do nae wish to return there� *pouting*

We are leaving right after lunch� It's a long ride and ye will want t' stop and see yer mum� We can stop at the Gaspard Tavern, say hello and get some supplies� We might be staying up there a few days until that woman shows up.

my mum is pleased when we arrive, but turns sour when she hears why we are there
lava Kyle just wants to try and see that female ghost abby saw. He says it had to be a real woman, because Kyle doesn't believe in ghosts.
Kyle *catching abby I ask her to pack us a bit o' food and drink t' take along up to the castle�..
she keeps shakin her head at Me, saying, "twas a real ghost all right, Kyle, and Ye are gonna be sorry"��.
lava Randy, the tavern owner, just laughs and shakes his head �� mumblin something about, "How many times do I have to tell this guy there are real ghosts up there?"
Kyle *I hurry us off to be sure that We make the castle before dark� Sure enough, just like before, the weather turns foul as We approach the castle�..
lava *shivering from both fear of this place and the cold winds, i help unpack the horse and carry in our supplies. Kyle had insisted on enough for several nights, in case this crazy local woman needed time to find out we were here*
Kyle I stop cold as soon as I open the door�. finding the place cleaned up, a fire lit and a table set for two*�.. It looks like someone has moved in here!
lava *removing a torch from the wall i began searching for the old note abby said was on the wall�.. to my shock, I find a new note instead*�. "Look, Kyle!!"
Kyle *reading the note on the wall, I smile*�. That explains who set the table for us. I am sure now that whoever it is will be here tonight�. We will soon know who is pretendin t' be a ghost.
lava *trying to mask my trembling feelings, and not wanting to debate again whether this thing was another ghost, i begin working in the castle scullery to prepare dinner�. at least i did not have to set the table*
Kyle *I make a quick tour o' the castle while lava prepares Ma dinner, but find no one� and none of the rooms other than the main hall have been cleaned up or appear to have been touched� still just dust and cobwebs*
Kyle *just as we finished our little meal lightening strikes nearby, so close the thunder clap is almost instant� My pet is oot o' her chair and quiverin in Ma lap. It's followed by heavy winds, rain, and more lightening and thunder which seems to surround the castle as if the Gods are lashing oot at us*
lava *whispering*�See what happens when Ye dinnae believe?
Kyle It's just a storm, lass� Ye are afraid o' yer own shadow. In this kind o' weather, our hostess might not make it tonight after all.
lava i am NAE afraid of many things, Master. But ghosts be one o' them�.and besides, Ye are assuming she isn't already here.
Kyle I already checked, sweetie, ye know that.
lava Aye, but remember the first time. It took us forever to find that hidden door over there. �. pointing over by the fireplace.
Kyle I looked in there, too, but yer point is valid. These castles can be full of secret passages and rooms. I hope she IS here� That�s why we came, to solve this little mystery once an for all.
lava i only came because Ye insisted, Master. i hope she never shows up, but that note on the wall says different.
Kyle *we finish the wine and are just ready to clean things up and prepare for bed by the fire when I hear the soft voice� glancing in that direction I see the blurry image of a woman����
lava *my eyes turn to follow Kyle's stare� and i drop the pewter plates with a crash*�.. Ohhhh myyyyyy God.
Kyle I listen as the soft, sultry voice continues, �. "Dinnae be afraid. I will nae hurt thee. I just need Yer help."
lava *trembling as she approaches us*
Kyle Help Ye how, M'Lady?"��. *her answer is even softer as she steps closer, "I just need the touch of a brave knight's hand. �. *and she reaches oot towards me*�. Please?
lava Nooooo!! don't touch her Kyle� It's a trick�..
Kyle *for some reason, curiosity I guess, I reach oot one hand and Our fingertips touch�.. It's at that moment that lightening and thunder pound the castle and it feel's like We were consumed in fire��..then just as quickly all is calm and to My surprise, she is no longer a blurry fog, but instead, a beautiful Lady ��

Angelica Aye, from the curse o' Lord Gaspard. T'was years ago when he went mad. Ma papa had made Me marry Him. The dirty old man used and abused Me. I tried to leave Castle Gaspard and His evil grasp. He caught Me and locked Me away in the tower. I prayed fer the ability t' haunt this retched man, and wound up as Ye found Me. �. *turning to Yer lass* �. So be careful what ye pray for lava.
Kyle Were those His bones that We buried months ago?
Angelica Aye, Yer pet here rushed Ye off before I could approach Ye. I was hoping Ye would remain here and I could find the right way to speak wi' Ye.
Kyle What about when lava was kidnapped and brought here?� When James and I came to save her?
Angelica In My previous form, I could only be seen at night.
lava Then�. Ye are truly a ghost?
Angelica I am nae sure what I was, lass . When yer sis came here several months ago searching for the two of You, I was only able to help her find ye with that first message on the wall�The gentleman with her was kind enough, but nae a true Knight. And when I saw ye here wi' that evil Elliott MacKenzie, there was no way I could help then either. I was happy to see ye rescued by the handsome Knights, Sir Kyle and James MacGregor, but MY hopes of being freed were ruined when They rescued ye during the day. I feared no one would return here after that.
Kyle But, how did you know We were coming tonight?

Kyle I believe in what I can see�. *feeling a bit uncomfortable now, after adding what happened tonight to a few recent experiences*
Angelica *winking at lava*�.. Then how did I know t' send abby to MacLaaran??
Kyle I have no idea�. but Ye are certainly flesh and blood now.
lava *smirking a bit as i watch Ye squirm*
Kyle *turning to speak to the audience now*�We stayed a few more days to help the Lady clean up a few rooms of the old castle and find a local lad and lassie as servants, then headed fer home. � Gaspard is now being renovated into the lovely place it once was�.but Ma mind is still in turmoil o'er another of these mysterious, seemingly impossible, events.
lava And i recorded this experience in my journal, as yet MORE proof that we should all believe in the supernatural�and ghosts! And we wish to thank Lady Angelica fer coming tonight to help us share this tale with ye.
