| Macky Faylona, MD is a General surgeon who acquired his MD degree from the University of the Philippines- College of Medicine (1991). He then went into General Surgery Residency at the UP-PGH Medical Center finishing as the Chief Resident during his senior year. He then went in to specialty training for Upper Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Surgery also at UP-PGH. In 1998, he had the opportunity to be under the tutelage of Prof. Sydney Chung of the Chinese University of Hong Kong for training in Therapeutic Endoscopy and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Surgery, UP College of Medicine, University of the Philippines-Manila.
