Catherine Grace "Katie" MacKenzie
b. 25 August 1875. Unmarried. d. 6 October 1896. Catherine Grace MacKenzie, or Katie, as she was called, was the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. John MacKenzie, MacKenzie Settlement, Little Branch, Black River.
She was employed at a factory in Roslindale, Massachusetts, took ill there with tuberculosis, and died in October of 1896. She was boarding with a lady in the town while working there. She wrote a letter to her Aunt Annabella Loggie in 1895, which is available here.
