Mackenzie Alexander Astin, was born on May 12, 1973. To the proud parents of two famous actors, John Astin and Patty-Anna-Duke. This is where Mackenzie and his older brother Sean Astin happen to get their talent and their passion for acting.

Mackenzie Astin has been an Actor since he was 9 years old, Mack's mother Patty Duke didn't really want either of her sons to get into acting, but she was willing to help and support her sons in the anything they did.

Mackenzie is mostly known for his roll as" Andy Moffet." In the last three (1985-1988) Season on the hits show," The Facts of Life."

While working with the "Facts Of Life", he was known has a heart-throb. Girls everywhere wanted his attention. From pin-ups to movies, Mack was a hottie! That also got him to try his talent on the big screen on the 1987 "The Garbage Pail Kids, The Movie" as Dodger.
