CONSUMER ECONOMICS
   The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the practical application of economics into their everyday lives. This course is a semester course that is required for graduation.

*Federal Income Tax

*Budgeting & Financial Planning

*Contracts

*Credit Costs, Types, Rights, & Responsibilities

*Casualty Insurance (home & auto)

****Quarterly assessments completed satisfactorily.

     This course is taught by Mr. William Mc mackin who created the course and who has been teaching it at West Catholic since 1966. In previous years, he has taught courses in General Business, Labor & Industrial Relations & Marketing. In addition to teaching Economics, Mr Mc Mackin also teaches courses in Accounting I and  Office Technology.
