My place!
My place is
in a field
of daisies and violets
surrounded by the sounds
of my Mother's eternal breath.
My place is
lying on a cloud
of unpicked cotton,
prickly and soft
like life itself.
My place is
entwined in the sweaty arms
of my woman lover,
kissing away the tears
of sisters gone by.
My place is
in a book
full of sinister phrases
and subversive verse.
My place is
where I am
or where ever
I choose to be.
My place is
starring at the moon
and remembering
that Her power
is forever.
