"When did you first start dating a woman?"
"I guess it was probably in March of 1994."
"That was Theresa, was it not?"
"Yes, I began dating Theresa in March of 1994."
"And did you tell Theresa that you had dated men prior to dating her?"
"What? No. Why would I? I mean, she never asked. It wasn't like I deliberately kept that information from her or something. She just never asked or else I would have told her."
"Why did you not feel the need to volunteer that information?"
"I didn't think that it mattered! I mean, I didn't care if she had dated men before we began dating or not. That really had nothing to do with our relationship."
"Really? Did you tell her that you had been exposed to STDs?"
"WHAT? No! I didn't tell her that because it wasn't true!"
"Are you sure? You did have sex with those men that you dated, did you not?"
"Yes, I did have sex with them but I was tested."
"How long after you last slept with a man did you come out as a lesbian?"
"I don't know...I didn't count the days. I guess it was maybe a few months."
"A few months?"
"Yes, about 3 or 4 months I guess."
"And how long after you last had sex with a man did you get tested for STDs?"
"I....I think a few months. Probably 2 or 3 months. It was before I started dating Theresa, I know that."
"And you informed her that you had been tested and were clean?"
"Yes, of course. I also asked if she had been tested."
"But you didn't feel the need to disclose why you needed to be tested?"
