I walked home, taking my time, feeling that I was no longer in any kind of real danger. Maybe I just had some kind of bad dream, but I was awake. Maybe someone had slipped something into that drink that I had after work and I just hallucinated the whole episode. I didn't know and to be honest, I didn't really care either. I was just glad that whatever it was seemed to finally be over.

When I finally arrived home, my only thoughts were on falling into my bed and sleeping for a week, but as I fumbled to find the key in my pocket, I saw a note nailed to my door with a large silver blade, black handled knife. It read:

We are watching you, ALWAYS! Your every move is being carefully monitored.

You may not feel sorry for the crimes that you have committed in the past, but rest assured that any future crimes against lesbianism will not go unnoticed or unpunished.

Consider this your one and ONLY warning.

The REAL Lesbians

I crumbled the note into a small ball and pulled the knife out of my door, inspected the rather large puncture wound left in the wooden door. I opened my door and went straight to the kitchen where I deposited the knife and its threatening note where they belonged...in the garbage.
