There is  an astounding number of rumors wandering around out there about this school.  Curious about some of the inconsistencies in the stories, I first began checking into its history in the early 90's.  Here are some of the findings.

Myth:  The school was shut down because a student fell in one of the sewer access holes in the central walkway.
Fact:  This most common of rumors is simply untrue due to the fact that the school was never opened to the public, and in fact construction on the school was never actually completed.

Myth:  It was built over an old cemetery.
Fact:  Nope.  The land was purchased from a private land owner, and was eventually bought back from said owner when the school never opened.
