2000 Spring Break
Gallery 1
Above are the families who graciously hosted me and a couple other guys during the week.  Directly above is Fred and Cathy Schmitz.  They hosted me until Pepper and Cindy McCallon (above right) got back in town and then I stayed with them for the rest of the trip.  To the right is the McCallon's 1978 Chevy Blazer.  They were INCREDIBLY nice to let me drive it a few times while I was there.  I was in heaven.  :-)
Above right is Amy Henderson.  She is one of the coolest girls I have ever met.  If you ever need anybody to put you in your place and to tell you how wonderful they are, talk to Amy.  Actually, she is very sweet and was a complete blast to hang out with.  I often kid around that she is my newest adopted little sis.  Jenny McCallon is the daughter of Pepper and Cindy (above).  Pretty much all that I learned about how to get around in Juneau, I learned from her.  She just graduated from high school this fall, and I got to go see her school one day.  She also introduced me to one of the best coffee drinks I have ever had.
On the right, the high school class at the Juneau Church of Christ, the junior high on the left.
This is Kaylee getting baptized by her father on Sunday night, the first full day we were there.  She was such a sweetie and made the biggest effort at getting to know all of us.  We were so encouraged by starting the week off wittnessing her birth into Christ.
To the left are Leah and Leslie while painting at the Fireweed Retirement Home.  This is where I worked during the week also.
This is Brad after doing TOO MUCH painting without an air mask.  :-)
And this is our team, and to make sure I give all credit:
