1969 Mustang Mach1 428SCJ Drag Pack

This is my 1969 Mustang Mach 1 428 Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack. This car is an extremely rare factory hotrod born on 05/22/1969.


March '68 Hot Rod Magazine said: "The Cobra Jet will be the utter delight of every Ford lover and the bane of all the rest because, quite frankly, it is the fastest running Pure Stock in the history of man."

Super Stock Magazine,February 1969 had this to say: "First gear is a rubber burning, smoking, screeching fishtail. Move the console-mounted selector lever one notch forward. Second gear slams in instantly producing more screeching. The car fishtails out to the left and your crushed back in your seat... Third comes on right now with a loud retort from the rear tires and still you cant move off the seat back..........That in a nutshell, is what a quick trip through the quarter is like in one of the most explosive cars we've ever driven--the Mach 1 Cobra Jet Mustang."
