STUDENT LIFE

Here as student I have many things to do I'm studiyng International Relations, at the Amsterdam School of Business,

Studying in Amsterdam Living in a foreign country can be a great experience and it's nice to study in a large city. Everything is close at hand and you never need to be bored. There are book shops, cafés, theatres, sport facilities and all sort of other things which make life more attractive. Amsterdam also attracts people like a magnet. For example, there are more than 55,000 students in Amsterdam; most of these students don't just want to study there, but also want to live in the City. Finding a room or appartment in Amsterdam is certainly not easy. The supply is small, often very expensive, and the demand is great. That is why it's a good idea to start looking for a room in plenty of time and to know what you should, and should not, do to get a room.

The Challenge of an International Career The globalisation of the economy is a fact. The accelerated integration of national and regional economies moves people closer together. It makes the world a smaller place but not necessarily a simple one The boundaries of industry are drawn world-wide. Technological progress, the shortening of product life-cycles and the advance of service orientation have intensified competition at a breathtaking pace. To stay competitive, businesses need managers who are able to create a balanced mix between customer proximity and wordlwide coordination of operations. Professionals know the ropes in their field, whether marketing or finance. Pro-active thinkers with a working knowledge of a range of disciplines and a hands-on approach. Truly international managers who can make sense of cultural ambiguity. AND YOU? Would YOU like a career with an international company? Do YOU think you could feel át home'away from your home country? Do YOU like speaking foreign languages? Do YOU have good writing and oral skills in English? Are YOU keen to accept the challenge? If the answer is YES then we can help you achieve this goals by offering you two Bachelor of Arts (BA) study programmes: BA in International Management and BA in International Finance and Accounting. You are prepared for an international business career in middle and higher management positions. Both study programmes are entirely taught in English. Studying in Amsterdam A city, yet a village, is how many people see Amsterdam. Studying at the HES means living and working in the heart of Amsterdam. Holland's undisputed cultural and commercial center. With its approximately 700,000 inhabitants the city of Amsterdam is not as impersonal as many bigger cities can be, yet it has an unmistakable cosmopolitan aura combined with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Students will see that living among the Dutch, especially in Amsterdam, is going to be an enjoyable experience. Here are some nice places to walk in Amsterdam;

After school you can have a walk around the city and find one of the Buldog cafe's to enjoy in the company of a good friend.

Or enjoy of a play of chess:

Or go shopping into Kalvestraat

Or go to the flower market

To finally visit at night the bars and disco's like paradiso, Melvek, Escape, Sol, Rockery you are going to love it.

In the students life there is always someone to be with so she is Eva Karolina she is from Finland and she is great:
