THIS WEEK'S TICKET

THE 5 POINT WEEKLY POOL

The original pool and its still 5 pts. You pick the winners of the Sunday games and the Monday night game. We dont use the point spread although we provide it on the ticket to help you know favorites.  After picking a winner in each contest, pick the total points of the Monday night game as a tie-breaker. (For example: if you think the game will end with a score of 20 to 21, then youll want to pick 41 pts. as your tie-breaker.) The tie-breaker is only used if a tie occurs. The best ticket wins the pool.

The 20 pt. Seasonal pool

This pool is 20 pts. for the first 10 weeks and then it pays out. You then pay 20 pts. for the second 10 weeks of the season running into the play-offs. The rules are the same as the 5 pt. Pool except that the tie-breaker has no meaning. Each week, your total number of right picks is added up.  (For example: 10 right for week #1 and 9 right for week#2 =19. ) Each week, your total number of right picks is added up until the week 10 pay-off.

20 PT POOL PAYOFFS

40% FOR 1ST PLACE

30% FOR 2ND PLACE

20% FOR 3RD PLACE

10% FOR 4TH PLACE

On week#11, the pool starts over again. You pay 20 pts. for the next 10 weeks, right thru the play-offs. There are at least 15 things to pick each week thru week#20. There is a 100 point bonus after week #17 to the player with the best regular season total of the first 17 weeks.

The 25 pt. Dr. K. "Elimination" pool

Sunday and Monday games only.       Your team must win the game.     Games ending in a tie will result in both teams being eliminated.                       You may choose a team only once a season.

If you err and choose a team twice you will be assigned the top available favorite from the "Latest Line" of record.

You must make your picks by midnight on Saturday at the Inn.

If a player does not choose by midnight on Saturday, you will be assigned the top available favorite from the "Latest Line."

The pool will be divided by the remaining players at the end of the regular season.

If on a given week, all the remaining players are eliminated, then all of those affected players will continue.

If any rules are omitted and any unforeseen judgments need to be made during the course of the pool, the commissioners decision will be final!

The "Latest Line" printed on the weekly pool will be the paper of record.

The learning curve: if you eliminate yourself during the first three weeks, you "may" buy yourself back in for an additional 15 pts. You may only do this once.

IF YOU LEAVE A BLANK ON YOUR TICKET, YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED THE TOP AVAILABLE FAVORITE FROM THE "LATEST LINE."  IF YOU LEAVE THE TIE-BREAKER BLANK, YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED 42 PTS.
