Security Management means keeping our environment safe for staff, patients, and visitors.  If you see or experience any crime-related event, you should report it immediately.

If you are in the Hospital or at an Off-Campus Facility, report all crime-related emergencies to Safety & Security Emergency at ###-####, or XXXXX Police Emergency at ###-####.  These numbers are staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Report non-emergency events by calling ###-####.

If you are located in a satellite location, ALSO report all crime-related events to the site administrator.  In the event of an emergency, dial 9-911 (or applicable number for your location).

The hospital has an escort service that is available from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am, seven days a week.  You are encouraged to use this service which will escort you to and from your car and the buildings.

Emergency telephones are located inside and outside of buildings throughout both campuses and on all the parking decks. These phones act like XXXXX’s own 911 service.  You can use these phones to:

  • Report Any Emergencies

  • Report Accidents

  • Report Suspicious Activities

  • Summon Assistance

These phones are designed so that all you have to do is remove the phone from the cradle or push the red button.  If there is no communication once a call has been placed, a dispatcher will immediately send a police officer to the location of the telephone.

Remember ... Security is everybody’s business!
