Placement of all confirmed or suspect pulmonary TB cases on Airborne precautions (private negative pressure room) until analysis is complete with:
- 3 negative sputum smears for AFB on 3 separate days
- clinical improvement
- chest x-ray improvement
Adherence to the VCUHS respiratory protection plan
