Employee responsibilities:
Complete a
yearly mandatory Standard Precautions/Tuberculosis in-service program -
Know when you
are at risk of contact with blood and/or body fluids -
Protect yourself
from the risk of exposure with the use of protective equipment and Standard
Precautions
Know what to do
if you or a fellow employee is exposed to a patient’s blood or body fluids -
Receive the
hepatitis B vaccine, or sign a form in Employee Health declining immunizations
(if you are at risk of exposure to blood and/or body fluids |
