OSHA’s Hazard Communication
Standard, also known as “Worker’s Right-to-Know” requires:

A
comprehensive chemical inventory of all hazardous materials found in each work
area.

Material
Safety Data Sheets (MSDS’s) to be maintained for each chemical listed in the
inventory.

Chemicals to
be correctly and clearly labeled, including appropriate warning information.
-
Employees are
informed of the hazards, how to protect themselves, and what to do in the event
of an emergency.
