 OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, also known as “Worker’s Right-to-Know” requires:

  • A comprehensive chemical inventory of all hazardous materials found in each work area.

  • Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS’s) to be maintained for each chemical listed in the inventory.

  • Chemicals to be correctly and clearly labeled, including appropriate warning information.

  • Employees are informed of the hazards, how to protect themselves, and what to do in the event of an emergency.
