We are Immortals in every since. We do not age, we can not die...Unless you remove our head. But you will never hear of of my kind say that in the open. When Goratrix gave his potion to tremere, they achieved the effects they desired but not what they were really looking for. I hide among them and they never knew. I hide among them and in time was able to "aquire" Goratrix's potion and labratory notes and left them to play with thier new "toys". I did not have the weight of age on me so I was able to find out where he went wrong in the mixture. Several hundred years of remaining in my lab and with the same unwilling help from a few of my kind I was able to find the one thing that Goratrix did wrong and prefected the potion.
We bacame the true master of the masqurade and hide among them as one of them and they never questioned it. That was to our advantage. We have all the powers of the Vampires but none of thier hinderences. We have become Meta-Immortals in a way. We have only added to our power. The only draw back to our new found power is that once you have taken the potion you have to keep drinking it in order to retain the power the blood gives you. So I guess you can say we did get one of the curses of the one called Caine, we must continue to consume blood in order for us to stay the way we are.
We were here before the Vampires and we shall be here after they are all gone. Gehenna does not really effect us they way it effects the rest of the Vampire society, for when their fathers rise up and return to destroy their childer, we have the option to not be one of them at that time. They will never know the difference.
We do not discrimanate, for in "our" society we have Meta-Lupins, Meta-Magi and Meta-Humans. We only recruit the ones that have shown true mastery of themselves. There are no weak Meta's in our world.
