Hello and welcome to Bowtyes World. I hope you will find these pages entertaining and informitive. In my circle of friends I'm usually known as Mr.Chevrolet, Bowtye, or just Mick. I always end up in a argument about how Fords or Chryslers are better than Chevrolets. I love those guys, don't you? It's always in good fun, though.

This seems like a good time to tell you a little bit about myself. I was raised with a father that was a mechanic, so my love of cars started very early. My expertise with cars has been a learning experience that has been with me all my life, I learn something new everyday. To any of the back yard mechanics or someone doing their first old car, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions that you can't find an answer to in your area. I don't have all the answers, but maybe I can point you in the right direction.

I plan later to do a web page on my 41 Chevrolet Coupe. I found this car last summer in a field in Kentucky. It's in bad need of attention and will take awhile to do. I plan on taking pictures as I rebuild the whole car. When it's all done I will publish the project on my web pages. I'll put photo's of how the 41 Coupe looked when I found it, and progress through the finished car. Also, I will have photos of my 1969 Chevrolet Biscayne Coupe and my 1962 Chevrolet 10 series pick up truck on the car page, they're also waiting for total restorations. These will be among a lot of cars that I've owned in the past. Also for the Chrysler people out there, I did promise you one, I'll put a photo of my brothers 1966 Charger show car that he used to own. No, I didn't forget about the Ford people, I used to own a 1965 Comet Cyclone which will be on the car page also. When I owned the Comet I worked at the Ford Motor Company, Wayne Assyembly Plant, in Wayne,Michigan. Yes, I used to help build the Ford cars too !!!
