| Humphrey and Herb give it their all. I'm sure we all heard Humphrey talk about his 'conspiracy' stories. And I'm sure we all thought it was just a load of jibberish - a story that was fabricated in order to justify his disappointing performance in comparison to his glory days at the 2000 Reunion Relay Race. However, there may have been some truth to it - there may have been some eyewitnesses who saw their canoe going backwards and being drawn out towards St. Peter's Bay, despite their strongest paddling efforts. And, if we look just a little closer... just a liiiittle closer (see picture below).... could it be? It looks like a taut rope that is tied to the back of their canoe. This issue may have to be reviewed by the MacAdam Reunion Appeals Board. |
