I first knew her in the year 2003 when she asked me if I could work for an interpreting job. I said yes. Everything was Ok in the whispering job. She said to me: "You will also come with me now for an in-the-booth job". I said yes.
When my turn came to translate in the booth I was very confused and dropped the microphone. She took over.
In the break, I was afraid but she smiled to me and said: "Mohammed! You are a good translator! Do not worry, it is OK!" She kept encouraging me until I really had the guts to continue on that day. She gave me self-confidence. Now, I have interpreted in more than 150 conferences and workshops :))
Financially speaking, Reem is very honest. She used to come to me whenver she finished her job. I still remember when she came to me at night insisting that she would not delay the payment until the morning. She looked very very tired and her eyes were red. I had begged her on the phone to keep it until the morning but she insisted to pay me the money immediately.
Until now, I am very happy to work with Reem, who has managed to established her own agency. She has trained many people to be translators.
She is also teaching with me in the same university. Students highly praise her for her diligence and sincerity.
