- Synopsis -

Pikanchi is serious movie about the problems of young people in Japan... well ok it's a movie with the band Arashi playing in it, they play the 5 leading roles of this really funny and crazy movie. The script was written by Inohara from the V6 band and he also plays a little part in the movie. The movie tells the story of those young guys while they're in their last year of highschool, they're living in Yashio, on a island completely isolating the inhabitants from the city of Tokyo (though they aren't very far). It's funny but it has some touching moments.

Pikanchi est un film tr�s s�rieux sur les probl�mes des jeunes dans les cit�s au Japon... bon ok � part �a c'est un film avec le groupe Arashi dedans ! Oui les 5 jeunes gar�ons dans le vent (�a augmente) que dis-je le vent ! la temp�te !!!! (arashi=temp�te) jouent les 5 personnages principaux de ce film compl�tement jet� et survolt�. Le sc�nario est de Inohara des V6 et il joue d'ailleurs un petit r�le dedans. Le film raconte leur histoire alors qu'ils sont dans leur derni�re ann�e de lyc�e, une histoire de djeun's, racont�e par les djeun's pour les djeun's, dans la cit� de Yashio situ�e � Shinagawa, sur une �le paum�e qui isole carr�ment les habitants de la ville de Tokyo (et pourtant ils sont pas loin). C'est amusant mais malgr� tout c'est tr�s touchant..

My nickname is mabo, i am the maintainer of the site and i'm the one translating everything as well as managing all the timing and encoding stuff for the videos.

The name of the site comes from the anime "Cowboy Bebop" but it represents a style of jazz which is kind of cool too.

I started this site when i was translating some magazines articles and wanted a place to have them all. But then my translation projects evolved and now i'm subbing videos so i thought i should change the name of the site, naming it as a fansub group, and change the layout as well for a fresh new start.
