IT IS SAID that once there was a horseman riding on a shiny steed at full speed without control, not allowing the horseman to restrain it, a peasant walking along the road yelled at him: "Where are you going"? to what the man could barely yelled back: "I don’t know, ask the horse." This is what is happening during this new high technology era, we’re going at full speed, without control, like the prophet Daniel said 2,537 years ago: Many will go here and there to increase knowledge (Daniel 12:4). Everytime we need more and more speed, there’s never enough time to do everything. Everyday a lot of tragically accidents occur, because of high speed. We are going without control, like the horse, and we don’t exactly know where we’re going. In a lot of cases our race ends up in the hospital or even in the cemetery.

The most modern means of communications like the telephone, radio, television and the Internet brings us the news even while they are still happening. We know the situation in which we are living nowadays. We see clamor, pain, outcry everywhere. Immorality, bad habits, sexual licentiousness and nudity, are increasing everyday. Marriages are being destroyed by infidelity. The most common subjects on movies and novels are, crime, adultery, hate, revenge. There’s "TV talk shows" with millions of viewers in which participants express without embarrassment their duty ways of life. The viewers enjoy to watch it, finding it

very amusing. The people in this shows refers to GOD as "The one upstairs", "The boss", "My Daddy", "The chief".

Inside the temples invitations to repent and to accept Jesus Christ as your savior by faith are no longer part of the service; traditional worship music has been replaced by "rock" and "pop".

The environment we live in and the air we breath are both polluted, without pure oxygen no more. This is the quality of life in which our present generation is being brought up, the one that will rule the world tomorrow.

WE BEGIN the Bible teachings, first, learning about the Bible, because this is the book in which all of the "SELECTED BIBLE TEACHINGS" are based on.

The Bible is the sacred book of the Christians. It contains the historical files of the relationship between God and humanity.

It’s divided in two parts: the old testament and the new testament. Each testament is also divided into books and each book into chapters and then verses. The old testament contains 39 books and the new testament contains 27 books. In the old testament we find the history of creation, history of mankind, the first sin, history of the origin and development of the people of Israel, the ministry of the prophets. In the new testament, we find the advent and ministry of Jesus Christ, the origin and development of the Christian church, ministry of the apostles and a brief view into the future.

We believe that the Bible is a book inspired by God. The apostle Peter said: For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21). And the apostle Paul said: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16). A lot of things written in the Bible, they wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t because God revealed it.

It’s been said that the Bible is the "Magna Carta" of the Christian church. It contains the prophecies about the Redeemer Messiah. It’s a serious book, of a high practical moral education, with high principles and spiritual standards that teach us how to improve our daily behavior toward our relationship with God and our own kind, it also prepare us for our life after death. It is not a book for superticious or humbug consultations.

The main character in the Bible, in both testaments is Jesus Christ.

Even though the Bible is a book inspired by God, it was written by human beings, in a earthly language for human beings; any other way, God’s message to mankind wouldn’t have been understood.

On Sunday, June 5 of the year 29, the holy spirit came to a group of believers who were all together in one place, it was the day of Pentecost, a lot of people from every nation had come to the city for the celebration in Jerusalem, all of the believers together in a house were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the wonders of God in every language to the crowd in front of the house. The Holy Spirit did not preach, instead It performs a miracle using the disciples to speak in every different language "the wonders of God" to the foreigners (Acts 2:6-11).

God made this miracle so everybody could receive the message in their own language.

The authority of the Bible is based on its origin, its content and purpose. The prophets from ancient days used to reinforce their message by saying: The Lord has said. The Lord said to me. The preachers nowadays reinforce their message by saying: The Bible says. The word of God says.

In spite of everything, the Bible is the book more criticized and persecuted by all kind of people including some recognized as intellectuals. However, the Bible remains unharmed through the millenniums. In the century VIII before Jesus Christ, the prophet Isaiah said: The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8). Twenty centuries ago Jesus Christ said: Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away (Matthew 24:35). It’s the most sold book in the world. Every year millions of copies in every language and dialect are being publish. Fortunes are being paid to conserve and safeguard one of the manuscripts of the Bible like a big treasure. On the other hand , the works written against it are barely known.

The Bible tells us where we come from, who we are, and where are we going.

IN THE BEGINNING

If it was possible to run back through time and every event that took place, like watching a movie while being rewind, since the end to the beginning. How far could we go? which would be the last frame, or in reality the first picture of history, in which creation and human race started.?

Before our very eyes we would be able to observe the following: we could see ourselves getting younger, going from adult, into a young person, a teenager, a kid, and a baby until we disappear in our mother’s womb. we could see the graves to open giving back to life their dead ones, just to disappear the same way we did. The human population would be diminishing all the way to the first couple who started it all, this couple also would disappear to be transform into dust. The same would happen to every other living creature, or better to say every kind of animal.

Entire cities and roads would be transforming into empty lots being covered by vegetation; rivers running backwards leaving dry trails behind; the lakes and the seas would drained out turning the planet into a vast desert without any signs of life like if it never existed on this planet, just an immense rock "formless and empty" floating on space.

All of a sudden, like when somebody turns off an electrical switch, the sun that lights up our entire solar system would darken out, and then the rest of the leading lights in the universe, at this precise moment time stops, time doesn’t exist anymore.

Then, in the dense darkness, galaxies, nebulas, stars, everything in the universe would stop their high speed journey, and like a magnet they all would pull back together to form only one immense mass of matter in one point in the emptiness, this immense mass would also start dissolving itself like a sugar cube to its last constitutive: an atom. Then, even this last atom would vanish the same way.

And now, what? there’s only darkness, emptiness, silence, nothing! nothing.?

But, how can darkness, emptiness, silence and nothing will start creating something like what now we call nature, creation with its thousands of different living species and the most complicated organisms?

An axiom says: "Nothing comes out of nothing". another axiom declares: "Only something alive can produce something alive". A modern scientifically experiment proved that " There is no spontaneous generation." and the most common of the arguments says: " There is no effect without cause."

There can not be creation, without a creator: there can not be light, without a power plant that produces it; there can not be life, without somebody alive who originated it; there can not be movement without something that push-start it; there is no arquitecture, without an arquitect: there is no science, without a scientific; there is no art, without an artist.

Creation is all of that: light, life, movement, arquitecture, art.

Then, what was there before the first nucleus appear? and before those first electrons began spinning around that first nucleus to form the molecules that gave form to the different kinds of materials from which the universe is made of?

The Bible responds explicit and without a preface: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

This is the first picture of the beginning, of the history of creation and humanity."

God is the great creator, the fountain of light, the originator of life, the propeller of movement, the great arquitect, the great scientific, the great artist.

The Bible says: " Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."
