In. Washing Township #20 Elizabeth Baker Seabolt died in
1854.....Probably buried in Davis County, but no proof. William must
have married Nancy ? in Davis County, because there is no record in
Taylor County. The youngest child, William is Nancy and William's
child. Not Elizabeth's. (WBK) RECORDS: From the "1990 Taylor County
History" . "About 1856 they all came up the Mississippi River on a
floating mill, owned by St. Clair's half brother, BRYANT SEABOLT.
Seabolt's daughter married a McCurdy. They stoped at every town along
the way to grind corn for people. When they came to Iowa border, the
Cade family got off and landed in Davis County. They (St. Clair
Cade's Family) moved to Taylor County." This was written by Zula Webb
Reynolds. Grandaughter of Elba Baker and St.Clair Cade, Elba Baker
is Elizabeth Baker's younger sister. If this is true, Bryant Seabolt
would have only 18 years of age, and his parents were already in
Taylor county. Maybe, she ment brother-in law, not half brother.
Maybe the year is wrong. I am not sure. William Seabolt's daughter,
not Bryants, Easter Seabolt did marry Franklin McCurdy. (WBK) I
think William Seabolt and St. Clair Cade were half brothers. Can't

Tenn., but I think they came with the rest of the family, but I cannot
find anything on either one of them. There is a Isaac Edwards in the
1860 Taylor County Census, but his wife is Mary (23) born in Tenn.
