Thomas Flett (1814-) Thomas was born in Scotland 1814 . He arrived in Oregon in 1851, marrying Louise (Lizette?) the same day, June 22.
Marriage Record:
Oregon Archives: 1851 Book 1 Page 007 Clackmas County.Somewhere east of the Rockies he had taken for a wife Nancy Kootenay who borne him a daughter Clementia, and whose death in unrecorded.
His claim south of Woodburn was disallowed after some years of apparent dispute, as was often the case when boundaries were vague or unrecorded.
