During the first 14 years of my life I never travelled outside my home state Tamil Nadu. Ventured out of the place where I was born and went to school (Nagercoil) only a couple of times.
Went to university in Chennai and spent 4 uneventful years here. Got picked up by Tata and went to work in their plant in Dewas in the central part of India. Spent 4 and half eventful years here. This was the best part of my life so far. I was full of fire and enjoyed working to a punishing schedule.
During the stint in Dewas, travelled to Bologna - Italy, Spittal - Austria and Stuttgart - Germany accompanying the VP on a business trip. Was nervous and miserable all the time :-(
After a brief period of working in Chennai for Tata, went to Shanghai - China. A period filled with challenges and trials lasted for 4 and half years (again !!!). Learnt a lot of things. Travelled extensively in China. Went to Northampton, UK as part of work for a few months.
Ending that, now anchored my self in Chennai
for a business venture drawing on all of the earlier experiences. We are
offering multi-enterprise management services to companies in leather industry.
