| About my Music | ||||||||||||||||||
| I recently taught myself to play the Ukulele. After a while of learning the basic chords, I found myself starting to write and sing songs. I kept a record of the songs. It suddenly occured to me one day, Why not record the songs and sell them as CDs? Well, that's where I am now! | ||||||||||||||||||
| What does MA-sha mean? |
||||||||||||||||||
| Masha is my name is Russian. I figured I'd spell it like MA-sha because there are so many singers and bands that I like that I have no idea how to pronounce their names. I want to make it clear to people. | ||||||||||||||||||
| What kind of music is it? | ||||||||||||||||||
| That's a hard question. I like to call it, "spontaneous." It's just whatever I decide to play at any given time. If I had to give it a name, I'd say folk or experimental. It's a combination of simple Ukulele chords, mellow vocals and the occasional flute. Al done by yours truley. Currently, my music style has been changing. There are some nice electronic sounds out there now. |

| What's the backwards R thing? | ||||||||||||||||||

| That's my logo. It comes from the Cyrillic (that's the Russian alphabet) letter, "Ya" which looks like a backwards R. The letter alone means I or Me, so you do the math. Mine has a little Bat Wing on it to make it cool. | ||||||||||||||||||
