| No one told him why No one said goodbye With it friends all astray The new one went away "Heros seem the first, to die from war time's curse I worry for my friends I pray they've not met their ends" Chorus: Don't be scared The war will soon end Don't be scared I will be your friend Many good long years Wasted brings him tears There is nothing he can see He thinks where they could be Cold, white all alone There is no love in stone The others are forced to roam He hopes they'll all be home Chorus Before the final hour The tree has yet to flower Arrows began to fly And loved ones seemed to die He thought that one was dead So on his knees he said; Do not be sad Be hopeful instead! | This one has two meanings - Originally it was about a character from a story I wrote a while ago, where five fox-like people tried to unite the different races in their land and ended up getting stuck in the middle of a war. I never finished the story, but I always loved the ideas of it. As I wrote it, it started to make me think of Pippin in the Return of the King. Is that copyright infringement? | ||||||
