Though Dikshitar has not introduced a raga mudra into every kriti, in some ragas he has used it in several compositions. An example is Kalyani. composition - phrase kamalAmAm bhajarE - nitya kalyANIm abhayAmbA jagadamba - Asrita mA vANi kalyANi kAmAkshIm kalyANIm - in the opening words bhajarE rE citta - nityAm kalyANIm Another example is Bhairavi. composition - phrase cintayamA - bhairavi prasangam lalitAmbikAyai - nata bhairavi nartta nAyai srI kamalAmbAyAhA - bhairavi bhArgavI bharatyAhA aryAm abhayAmbAm - natabhairavIm dEvi jagadIswari - bhairavi bhArgavi vinutE And one more for the road : gamakakriya kAsi visAlakshIm - gamakakriya mOdinIm mInakshi mEmudam - gAna dasa gamakakriyE These may be exceptions because of the ease of incorporation of these names but I think they suffice to prove that there is no rule.
