  • Invitation to the Goddess:
    Pomona, Lady of the orchards,
You who make the fruit ripen on the tree,
Now that your work is done
And the time of harvest is upon us,
I invite you to celebrate Mabon with me.

  • Invitation to the God:
    Bacchus, Lord of the vineyards,
You who make the grapes ripen on the vine,
Now that your work is done
And the time of harvest is upon us,
I invite you to celebrate Mabon with me.

  • Statement of Purpose:
Today, we celebrate the harvest of the fruit, the time when we reap the rewards of all the hard work weve done throughout the spring and summer. At this time of perfect balance between day and night, I ask that balance be granted in my life. As the darkness overtakes the light, I will turn inward, searching within my soul for the seeds I wish to plant when the light once again conquers the darkness.

  • Offering to the Goddess:
    Pomona, Lady of the Apples,
I offer to you now this fruit
    Over which you have toiled
    From seed to fruition.
As you partake of its essence,
I ask that you bring sweetness to my life.

Which you have given to sustain us.
