Enchanted Evening Spell
(For a Safe, Enjoyable Outing)

Supplies:
1 red candle
1 blue candle
1 green candle
2 white candles
1 Tiger's Eye (luck)
1 Obsidian (protection)
1 Carnelian (peace)
1 Rose Quartz (happiness)
A square of cotton cloth and blue ribbon to make a sachet bag
Quartz point to inscribe candles
Enchanted Evening oil
  • 2 parts lavender oil
  • 1 part dragon's blood oil
  • 1 part vetivert
    Enchanted Evening incense
  • 1 tsp. catnip
  • 1 tsp. lavender
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. daffodil petals
  • 1 tsp. heather
  • 1 tsp. mistletoe
  • 1 tsp. pennyroyal

    Instructions:
    Etch the following runes on candles from wick to base:
    Rad(travel in comfort)

    Wyn(joy and happiness)

    Eolh(protection, defense, guardianship)

    Os(harmony)

    State exactly these attributes as you mark each symbol to specify which aspects of the run you are inscribing and setting into action, since the runes have many aspects and meanings.

    Anoint each candle from wick to base with the Enchanted Evening oil

    Make Enchanted Evening incense to be burned AND used in sachet, saying:

    "(Herb's name)I ask that you bring (herb's attribute)to this mixture, by the powers of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water in order to grant (names of those involved in the evening's plans)*a safe, enjoyable evening.

    Mix all herbs together, then empower the finished mixture, calling upon Gods/Goddesses such as: Bast (joy), Athene (peace), and Hermes (travel) or any others you feel would be appropriate.

    Smolder incense of charcoal block

    Empower each stone to be added to the sachet

    Place herbs and stones in sachet and close with blue ribbon

    Pass the sachet through incense smoke, empowering the finished product with appropriate words.

    Ask the blessing of the invoked Deities for the outing

    Allow candles to burn themselves out, if possible

    Carry sachet with you from the time you leave home on the outing until you return safely home



    *This should be done only with the permission of those involved. If it is impossible to get their permission, cast spell only for yourself, so that you do not violate the others' free will.
