ACTIVITIES

Monday

We will go over persuasive writing techniques with a journal activity and class discussion. 

We will also watch a couple PSA videos of your choice and will discuss what effective persuasive writing techniques were used.

Tuesday

Now we are going on our own Virtual Field Trip to learn more about this PSA business.

You will also watch a movie that I created to help you come up with a topic.

Wednesday

Today you will partner up to begin the creative process of developing your own PSA. You will research your topic of choice with your partner on the internet.

After researching, you will fill out the Interactive Persuasion Map to help direct your writing.

Thursday

You will write the script for your PSA.

At the end of class, I will also go over Windows Movie Maker because you will be using this program to create your project.

Friday

You will work on filming for your project using our school video camera.

You will also work on creating your project in Windows Movie Maker.

Monday

You will present the finished project of your fantastic PSA!  The class will give you feedback on your creative masterpiece.
