This week is Basenji. I chose this dog because I have always thought they were a neato breed. Mainly because they do not bark
They are from African origin. The are said to be an ancient breed. They have been bred for hunting as well. They are a good hunting breed because the are fast, intelligent and quiet. They can outsmart most animals. People often find this trait to be difficult to deal with at home.
They do not bark, but do make dog noises. The specifiers call it a yodel.
They come in Black color, a chestnut color or tri-color.
