We needed to return to the house we are in contract to purchase for a further inspection. Our building inspector had reported that several of the construction materials used on the outside of the house were substandard, i.e. not stainless steel or galvanized steel. Since the home is so close to the Ocean, there is a lot of salt in the air. Salt is very corrosive on metals, of course.
So we drove the 265 kilometers from Tannum Sands to Bargara on Mother's Day.
This is a picture of an ad for the Golf community we will be moving to: Coral Cove International Golf and Country Club Estates just outside Gin Gin.
We traveled through Bundaberg to reach Bargara and Coral Cove.
We stayed in the lovely costal town of Bargara. These are a couple 'approach' pictures of the one intersection with all the 'action'.
We had a nice lunch at the Bargara Hotel, which is known for its fresh seafood. The owner of the hotel has his own fishing trawler.
