These are my best haiku of 1995.
I joined the Shiki list late that autumn so
there weren't that many to choose from...
| so dark so early: I let my little lantern burn all through the night |

| walking the dimly lit street, I wish all of the lights were out |

| 4.30 a.m. I've no intention to sleep: there's still some wine left! |

| his dogs, always as enthusiastic to see me: dirt on my coat |

| Christmas drawing near: swept away by the music "Psallite" and voices of seventy-five men |
