| +Tabuk: Horned yellowish antelope. The meat is often grilled. |
| +Bosk: This animal closely resembles the Yak of Urth, used for many things on Gor. Can be served roasted, sliced, or as steaks. The milk of the Bosk is very drinkable and can be used to make cheese and churned for butter |
| +Vulo: A small pigeon-like bird. Can be cooked and eaten. The very small eggs are cooked for the breakfast meal, by frying them in a large, flat pan. Takes several birds or many eggs to make a meal. Served roasted and spiced. |
| +Verr: A goat like animal. The meat can be eaten, roasted, or grilled. Its milk can be used for drinking or the making of cheese and butter. |
| +Tumits: A large, crnivorous bird of the plains. It is hunted and eaten by the Nomadic people of Gor. Traditionally hunted with bolos and the sport lies in whether you or the bird gets to eat that night. |
| +Cosain Wingfish: Called so because of its abilities to fly above the waters of Thassa for short distances. Its' livers are considered a delicacy. |
| +Parsit Fish: Slender and striped. |
| +Sullage: A common Gorean soup consisting of three standard ingredients, and as it is said, whatever else may be found, saving rocks. The principal ingredients for Sullage are the Golden Sul, a starchy golden brown vine-borne fruit of the golden-leaved Sul plant; the curled red leaves of the Tur-Pah, a tree parasite, cultivated in most orchards of Tur trees; and the salty, blue secondary roots of the Kes Shrub, a small,deeply rooted plant which grows best in sandy soil. Sullage is boiled and simmered in a kettle. Serve hot. |
| +Sul: Golden brown starchy tuberous root of the Sul plant (not unlike the potatoes of Urth). One way of serving it, is to break it open and fill it with melted Bosk cheese. |
| +Tospit: The Tospit is yellow in color. Small peach-like fruit that is about the size of a plum. They are bitter, but edible. Often they are dried and candied. |
| +Red Fruit: Simlar in flesh and taste to apples of Urth origins. |
| +Larma Fruit: A sweet fruit. It is served sliced. |
| +Sa-Tarna: A grain, yellow in color. It is a staple of Gor. It is brewed in paga nd it is also ground and used to bake the Sa-Tarna Bread |
| +Sa-Tarna Bread: Also known as yellow bread. It is a staple food in every Gorean meal. The bread is a rounded flat loaf that is yellow in color. It is marked, before baking, into six sections. |
| +Black Bread: Baked soft and full flavored from Gorean grains. It is heavy and dark in color. It is served with clotted Bosk cream or honey. |
| +Rence: A water plant. The grain is eaten, the stems are harvested and pressed into paper or woven into cloth. The grain may be boiled or ground into a paste and sweetened. This paste can be fried into a type of pancake. |
| +Cheese: May be made from the milk of the Bosk or Verr. |
| +Butter: May be churned from the milk of the Bosk or Verr |
| +Sugar: There are two varieties commonly used. The Red Sugar and the Yellow Sugar. It is believed the Red Sugar is made from fruits and the Yellow Sugar from the juices of crushed can stalks. |
| +Olives: These are commonly from the City of Tor.They are referred to as Torian Olives. |
| +Red Olives: These are from the groves of Tyros. |
| +Dates: They come from the city of Tor. |
