Joshua Is 2 Years Old!

Joshua's birthday was fun for everyone. We started off at Burger King for a birthday party. After the party, the kids played for 2 hours. Then it was off to ride the race cars. Joshua was too young to drive his own, but he enjoyed riding with is dad. You can see that Joshua was surounded by gifts at his party. That didn't even include the all the gifts that Grandma and Grandad sent.

After opening all the gifts, the next logical thing to do was take a package of stickers and cover his face with them. He proudly walked around and showed off his body art. I am guessing that if he had received markers instead of colored pencils as one of his gifts, he would have colored in the spaces between the stickers.

Joshua was just as excited as Jeremy was to have his picture taken in "real" Japanese clothes. He is sporting a sumo outfit in this picture. You can see that he has the body for it.

Bath time is the best time for Joshua. He is a real waterdog. He is always willing to jump in the tub for water fun. here he is posing with Jeremy after getting out of the tub.

Although Joshua was excited to come back to the states, he was none to happy about the trip. And, the long wait for the air plane and the delay didn't help any. But, he was very good on the flight. He curled up and tried to sleep when the kid next to him finally stopped spitting on him.

Getting all three kids happy and smiling for a picture is no easy task. Joshua was none too happy about having to sit still to take this picture. He rarely sits still for very long. There was so much to explore. What made him happy was getting to hold part of the tree. This is the picture that we used for our Christmas cards. You can see in the background that is is green and beautiful here.
