happened in the middle of the night. We still had to wait a
few more days.

falls right asleep.

The
night before he was due to come home, he developed a fever,
started breathing fast and was generally cranky.

needles were changed at least once a day because his veins
were so small. Some times it would take an hour to get a
new one started. All of that poking wore him out and he
didn't even wake up for a visit from Dad.
