Welcome!
I am a tenth-grade English teacher currently employed at Rio RIco High School in Rio Rico, Arizona.� Rio Rico is a small community in the Sonoran Desert. The town is approximately 15 miles from the border of Old Mexico. This close proximity to the border equates into a daily use of Structured English Immersion, techniques developed in recognition of and to assist students with a home language other that English.
I enjoy unraveling the perceived mysteries regarding the structure and history of the English language.

Hobbies & Interests:
I enjoy embroidery, fabric painting, and landscaping. I also sing in the church choir.� I like to play Nintendo, toss Frisbees, and listen to that good ol' rock and roll with interludes of jazz, classical, and the big band sound.
