About me:
I teach five sections of English II to approximately 120 students. I plan to implement the Bradford Robotic Telescope Experience as part of our English curriculum. I hope to use the Internet in unique and compelling ways to reach my students. Our school embraces the Character Counts! program. I have taught in schools that are a firm supporters of the Accelerated Reader program, and I believe that all students should have the opportunity to practice reading--the bedrock of the Accelerated Reader program.

My goal for classroom atmosphre: I do not want my classroom to look like a classroom. The class pet is a brightly-colored, paper-mache parrot from Nogales, Mexico. I have a collection of Sesame Street stuffed animals that are routinely used to excite the students. My favorite toy is "Duke" -- the blonde Ken doll given to me following a car accident--my students promised me a rich, sensitive, young man if I returned to school!
