Classroom Committees
Attendance Committee takes daily attendance and gives a list of absent students to Mr.
Garcia and to the handouts committee.
Handouts Committee distributes any new handouts to the class. Also this committee writes the names of each absent student on a separate handout to give to the class binder committee.
Class Binder Committee keeps one blank copy of each handout distributed in class. Also this committee holds the handouts for any absent student in the class binder.
Time Keeper Committee keeps track of the time for any activities or presentations done in class. This committee will quietly inform Mr. Garcia when there is five minutes remaining in class.
Collection Committee collects any assignments that are to be submitted and places them in the class binder. This committee will also assist in collecting and returning the recipe boxes.
School Loop Committee updates the syllabus on the school loop website and ensures that the website is kept up to date by reminded Mr. Garcia of any missing information on the site.
Recorder Committee is responsible for recording notes during class discussions when needed. Also this committee will write on the overhead projector/white board when information needs to be collected and displayed.
Classroom Check Committee is responsible for inspecting the classroom at the end of each class meeting to make sure the classroom is kept in order. This committee helps every student by making sure items are not left behind.
Equipment Committee is responsible to check that all equipment is accounted for before and after each activity or lab. This committee informs Mr. Garcia if any items are missing or need to be replenished.
