| We spent the couple of days we had prior to the big moment looking around lake Tahoe, driving everyone around and trying to keep Missy from being overwhelmed by all the people vying for her attention. McKayla did a great job as one of three flower girls, wasn't a big fan of all the pictures, and had lots of fun dancing. Congrats to Jess and Lisa - It was a wonderful time and a beautiful wedding! We made it back home in time for the important stuff - pick puppy up from the kennel and go tumbling. Yes tumbling is still a big hit and no I don't have pictures yet. I will soon though, along with more pictures from the wedding. Our tired and worn camera that Brian and Kate got us right before McKayla came along finally decided it was time to call it quits, at the wedding of course. I am sharing this because the same day that we got a new one McKayla got the old one to work, barely, but it works again. Guess it just needed a little rough housing! Minus fighting lingering colds we are still spending lots of time outside and on the move. We have also really been hitting the books hard and spending plenty of time at the library. The other excitement of this month is we recently got set up with a webcam, thanks to Paul and Martha. McKayla gets to talk, be seen and see them on the computer along with Kate and Brain. Hope all is going well for everyone. More next month! |

| Unfortunately, the month started off with lots of sneezes, a running nose and red eyes. It is official; McKayla has allergies like the rest of us. The extra wet, late summer that led to a landscape of weeds really set them off. The good news is with the miracle of today's medicines we have them under control and Missy is back to her spirited, high-energy self. McKayla was herself just in time to jump on a plane and go to Reno. We made the big trip to Uncle Jess's wedding at the beautiful Lake Tahoe. McKayla had a great time on the planes and in the airports. She made lots of friend waiting for our turns to board and talked the entire flight. She chattered so much that our neighbors on the plane were commenting on how well of a grasp of vocabulary she had for a two year old. In Reno we got to pick up Amma and Papa, Tub and Winnie and Joe and Mary. Once we got into Lake Tahoe we ran into even more friends and family that had made the trip to watch Jess get hitched. Auntie Sam, my Aunt Virginia and Uncle Jerry and long time family friends, the Roubals, surprised Mom and Dad showing up unannounced. |
