| The Responsibility theme forces an individual to take phychological ownership for anything they commit to, and whether large or small, they feel emotionally bound to follow it through to completion. Their good name depends on it. If for some reason they cannot deliver, they automatically start to look for ways to make it up to the other person. Apologies are not enough. Excuses and rationalizations are totally unacceptable. They will not quite be able to live with themselves until they have made restitution. This conscientiousness, this near obsession for doing things right, and the impeccable ethics, combine to create their reputation: utterly dependable. When assigning new responsibilities, people will look to these individuals first because they know they will get it done. When they are come to for help, and they soon will, these individuals must be selective. Their willingness to volunteer may sometimes lead them to take on more than they should. | ||||||||||||||||||

| There is a great need for the responsibility characteristic in a teacher. I plan to use this characteristic to it's full potential by constantly being an educator that my students and co-workers can count on to come through for them. I will gladly take on the responsibility of encouraging my students to reach their full potential while being a positive and responsible role model. I will use my responsibility strength to remain a constant partner in my career with my students and colleagues. | ||||||||||||||||||
