One day, some time ago, we hooked up at Aloha Music in Indio, and decided to have a "jam session" and the rest is history. Ticket to ride is a local Desert area band that is honored to pay tribute to the band that started it all,
THE BEATLES!
The band has four members, which include Richard Virginia on lead / 12 string guitar ( bass on a couple of tunes) and vocals , John Cola on bass guitar (and keys on those same songs), Marty Croft on electric and acoustic guitar , harp, and lead vocals, and Mike Davies on drums, bongos, the gong, and vocals.
Unllike other "Beatle bands" We do not dress the part (it wouldnt work). We really just enjoy playing the music! Although we dont dress the part, we have gone a long way ($$$) to reproduce "THE SOUND" as close as we can, and have a blast doing it. Anything from your kids 6th bithday (no bad lyrics,,,hee hee) a small club, to a large outdoor event, let us know and we are there.
