MYERSVILLE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT
"Welcome to the home of the toy fire department"
History of M.C.F.D.
Stations
The Myersville Fire Department was orgainized in 1998. The company started with three stations(1,24, 25). These companies covered a small area of a growing city. In 1999 due to growing population M.C.F.D. orgainized a fourth company(4). During the period of 2 yrs. the department upgraded their force getting up to date apparatus. In late 2000 M.C.F.D. got a donation from the borough to orgainize a borough station(23). In early 2002 due to even more growing population M.C.F.D. orgainized two more stations(2,3). In late 2002 M.C.F.D. had add another station(10). With the city growing fast  the need for two more stations were needed on the West Side of the city(7,8). To give off-duty firefighters the fun of fighting fire in the city we began a volunteer station(33).  Up to this date M.C.F.D. is one of the most busiest departments and one the most highest technology in the fire service today.
