1. A one paragraph summary of the section...

      The last section of the Junior Faith course was the Jesus:Model of Faith section. This section had to do with Jesus as a model of Faith and humanity, and the proofs for the existence of God. The proofs of God we studied came from the natural world and the human person. The proofs from the natural world are the Kalem, anthropic, telelogical arguments, as well as others. The proofs from the human person come from religious experience, conscience, and natural law arguments. Our study of Jesus lead us to understand him as more human, a person who experienced the ups and downs of life. He is another way in which we find the existence of God.

2. Three important things I want to remember...
     A) The Golden Number/Ratio: The first thing I want to remember is The Golden Number. It is an irrational number that suggests that the universe has intelligent design. The number is found by adding the number 1 to itself and then on by adding the last two numbers in the sequence together to get the next number. This pattern shows up significantly in nature many times. Sunflower pedals show this pattern. The Golden Ratio also is used in everyday life alot. It is the ratio between a number in the sequence divided by it preceding number. It's numerical value is about 1.61.      B) The Fundamental Idea of Jesus' Teachings: The second thing that I want to remember is the fundamental idea of Jesus' teachings. It is based upon the question: "I was needy ... what did you do about that?" This question, from the book of Matthew, shows how Catholics are called to live. It shows us that we should strive to help others. Jesus told us to worry less about the rules of religion and instead more about the spirit in the religion. We are called to realize this spirit in our religion and be able to use this realization to live as a person of God.
     C) The Four Traits That Make Someone A Christian: The third thing I want to remember is the four traits that make somone a Christian. The first is that Jesus is the embodiment of God. The second is that Jesus died in order to rise and share with us divine aliveness. The third is based off of the second. In order to share that aliveness we must become selfless individuals and forgive others and look for others' interests before our own. The fourth is that we celebrate the community of service at a meal, the Eucharist, where Jesus is present. Without believing in these four doctrines, a person cannot call themself a Christian.

3. One image that reminds me of Jesus as a human

4. One question to ponder...
      Do I represent the Four Traits that make someone a Christian? Do I strive to live with those traits?

5. How Can I be a more Faithful Person?
     I can be a better person by doing one thing. I can try to live out the Beatitudes as laid out by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Alot of times people strive to be motivated and driven, but dont strive to be humble or meek or anyt of the other things the Beatitudes teach us to be. They are often times overlooked when defining what it means to be a good person.
