Dear Kazu. The only way you can help yourself if to find some friends who you can speak English with. When I was teaching in China I learnt that every week they organized "English Corners," meetings where people meet and speak only English. Many foreigners would come there to talk to local people and meet new friends. Maybe you can try to do that with your friends? One more advice: everytime you can try to think in English. It really helps. |

Hello, In my opinion you should not give up. Keep on going to that conversation group. Speaking takes time. First try to listen to English as much as you can, and then slowly you'll start speaking it. It will definitely help you. I am not in Canberra at the moment so I cannot help you personally. Good luck :-) |
