| Beauty is like a Spring Morning |
| Roses burst forth to greet the morning sun
Their subtle fragrance Drifting gently on the breeze. Butterflies dance in the early hues Birdsong accompanying their magnificent ballet. Bees buzz in accord with natures song The rustle of leaves in the trees Adding to the melodious symphony. I recline beneath a tall shade tree and breathe The warm fragrant air, Composed, grateful to be here With you in peaceful, sweet repose. What a wonderful and glorious day this will be Surrounded by Mother Natures gracefulness Looking at you I suddenly realise Your beauty is like a spring morning. ~:~ Copyright2004M.A.Anderson Brisbane, Australia Word count: 98 |
