The Night Has a Thousand Evil Eyes
The night has a thousand evil eyes
Observing from within the shadows,
Seeking the despised, illusioned, depraved,
Searching for their abominable weakness.

Darkness is the time when all is revealed.
Sinister creatures playing their game
With the lives of all who hunger and plead,
Tempting them to seek their own pleasure.

Violence, crime and lust rampage then,
Innocents caught in the immoral scheme
Crying out for assistance but receiving none,
Unable to flee the brutal finale.

The night has a thousand evil eyes
That vanish with the light of morning,
Their wicked machinations temporarily sated
Until another night draws nearer
